I went somewhere else which was recommended and said to be very fair, but I felt like they low balled me. They did. Behr Gold & Coin gave me $400 more than the other guys AND  I didn't even bring as much as I did to the other place!!! $400 more for less! I go here regularly. Always polite and straight forward. Very personable. Often have the "shop dog" there curled up on his bed. He (the dog, Able) seems to know when you are a dog lover. He then likes to show off his toy with some wiggles and a smile. They've helped me out above and beyond "good business" to the point of what you might see a good friend do for their good friend. I am so glad to have found this place! I recommend them to anyone looking to get top dollar for what they're selling, always. Anyone I've recommended Behr Gold & Coin to has had nothing but good things to say. I also never thought I had anything that was worth more than a few bucks. I knew the gold caps(for teeth) were real but being so small didn't think they'd want it. The shop owner was very helpful and even paid an amazing price for my gold. Other shops I called tried to get over on me but the owner of Behr Gold Coins & Jewelry offered the most and told me that he'd rather I be happy and come back over his pockets getting fatter.  Verified Daniel hands down runs the best coin shop in all of Sacramento areas, no other shop even comes close to this. First off if you understand how stressful it is to run a coin shop then right away you should know the owner Daniel has the patience of a saint. I am really new to collecting, and he has taken the time to educate me and explain things very thoroughal to me about coins and different mints and what to look for and what can be desirable and not desirable in the investing aspect of coins. I have gone to a couple of other coin shops over the past month now and most of them I feel like I am just a number or a statistic but when I come to this shop it feels more family and there is a sense of trust that I have with this owner that I have not been able to experience with other shops in the area. The shop consist of dual door security so when you're buying and selling, you have two layers of security, which is nice. The shop is very clean and organized and well maintained. Spot prices at this shop are better than most shops around Sacramento that I have called but it really all boils down to the most important factor and that is trust in the person that you were buying or selling to. This is the kind of shop where if you brought in a bunch of expensive coins and did not realize they were expensive he would disclose that to you and inform you why it's valuable and how much you could actually get and even show you on the Internet past sales of that coin that is of value, again the honesty that this shop has is far above the rest and it is why I will never go deal business with another coin dealer, but this one 5 stars for service 5 stars for honesty when I had things of value I didn't even know and 5 stars for just being a light in this industry. I wish all coin dealers and card shops ect had the honest and integrity as this shop does. Thank you so much Daniel for being so honest and turning me onto such a great new hobby!

 Verified The whole spot they own on the inside of their building is well kept and very clean. The sellers are nice even on busy days and do the math right in front of you, they are super patient and help you find the deal that fits your budget. On top of that they answer all questions on coins with a professional look I admire. Also, the price on their coins is very good. They have two locking doors which adds a feeling of safety so while you look at coins you can feel safe while doing so. They mostly do gold and silver in many forms but have many more amazing items my jaw dropped at. These guys have deep knowledge and are very smart about how they treat customers.  Verified Wanted to find the best deal when offloading my precious metals, so I asked chatgpt for top 5 recommendations around me. Called those 5, and Behr had the best rates. Not only are the rates the best, but this dude and his son kick a$$ in the customer service department. Went there a few times and each time excellent experience: first time he went out of his way to call his bank to make sure I don't have any issues cashing his check as he was not allowed to give me that much cash, another he did a wire for an even larger amount so my bank doesn't hold the check/funds for 5-10 business days, etc... all while just being friendly, funny, and happy to answer any of my questions.  Verified I've come here a few times, and each time the owner, Daniel, has given me fair market value prices, whether buying or selling silver. A  few months ago I bought some silver coins from him, and when i got back home I counted the coins and discovered he accidentally gave me too many coins, $55 worth to be exact. I double and triple counted to make sure, then I called him to let him know that I owed him $55. Most people would not question it and just want their money, but he didn't accept it at first and had me count and recount to make sure. That showed me that he is honest, has integrity and that he's not just out to take my money. When he realized I did owe him $55, he tells me to just give him $40 next time I'm in. Very kind of him, I didn't expect that. I wasn't able to return until yesterday due to some extreme hardships I've been thru. When I arrived to sell some silver, I reminded him I owed him the $40, and he tells me to just give him $30 on account of "me having to come all the way back in to his store", but it was no lost time for me because I was already going to his store to sell some silver anyway. In my experience, this guy has heart and integrity, is fair and honest in his dealings and has earned my trust!
